Noa Beemer

Noa Beemer is een enthousiaste, spontane en gemotiveerde danser en dansdocent. Ze is nu 21 jaar en gaat al sinds ze kan lopen, dansend door het leven.  Toen ze 4 jaar oud was, ging ze op dansles en ze heeft zich inmiddels ontwikkeld tot een veelzijdige danser en dansdocent met kennis en gevoel voor diverse dansstijlen. Noa zit in het laatste jaar van haar opleiding Bachelor Docent Dans aan ArtEZ Hogeschool voor de Kunsten en ze staat te popelen om na dit schooljaar het werkveld in te gaan. In haar danslessen staan energie en plezier voorop.  

Vorig jaar heeft Noa tijdens haar stage ontdekt dat ze het geven van dansles op een middelbare school ook een hele mooie uitdaging vindt. Nu is ze, doormiddel van haar LIO-stage op het Olympus College, begonnen met haar profilering in het binnenschoolse werkveld.
Ook haalt ze enorm veel plezier en voldoening uit het lesgeven in het buitenschoolse werkveld. Dat doet ze het liefst in de stijlen: hiphop, jazz, klassiek en modern. Ze is zich aan het verdiepen in de leeftijden 4 t/m 21 jaar.  

Toen Noa ongeveer 14 jaar was, kampte ze veel met blessures, mede door de groeispurt. Om die reden is ze haar afstudeeronderzoek gaan richten op de consequenties van een groeispurt en hoe dit eventueel invloed kan hebben op leerlingen in de dansles.  

Volgend jaar hoopt ze, met al haar stage-ervaringen en opgedane kennis uit haar afstudeeronderzoek, als volwaardig dansdocent les te kunnen gaan geven in zowel het binnenschoolse als buitenschoolse werkveld en de passie die zij heeft voor dans over te brengen op haar leerlingen.

Noa Beemer is an enthusiastic, spontaneous and motivated dancer and dance teacher. She is 21 years old and when she was younger, she wouldn’t stop dancing around the room. She started dancing at the age of 4 and the passion for dance grew. Noa has developed into an all-round dancer and dance teacher with knowledge and feeling for various dance techniques. She’s currently in her last year of the Bachelor Dance in Education at ArtEZ University of the arts and she can’t wait to start working next school year. She finds joy and energy two of the most important aspects in the dance classes that she teaches.  

Last year Noa took an internship as a dance teacher at a high school and found out that she loves teaching there. Now she is deepening her knowledge as a dance teacher at a high school through an internship at Olympus College. She also has a passion for teaching at dance schools and she feels the most comfortable teaching hip hop, jazz dance, classical ballet and modern dance. This year she is focusing on the ages 4 till 21.  

When Noa was about 14 years old she had a lot of injuries due to her growth spurt, that’s why her thesis is focused on the consequences of a growth spurt and how it can affect the students in a dance class.  

Her hope for next year is that she will be teaching at dance schools and high schools in different types of dance techniques and pass on her love for dance to her students.
